Friends

Yesterday when I rode my bike with my friend, we went to her house while my mom was at the post office. We ended up having a water fight since it was 88 degrees outside!=) Then Rebecca(my friend that I rode bikes with) came over to my house for a sleep over! It was really fun! We made a star box and a cube. Then Sister Edlefsen and Kimmy came over to see if Hope, Jackie, Rebecca, and I wanted to play wall-ball at their house. It was like 8:30 or 9:00 when they came and asked so we played wall-ball in the street lights. It was really fun! We left at like 10:30 and then went to bed. In the morning we had cereal(Rebecca wanted cereal so i though ok=)) We then played Guitar Hero World Tour(GHWT) for about an hour. Then we went outside and jumped on the trampoline and then came in and made snow cones. They were really good!!=) Then Rebecca went home cause she had to do some chores and so did I. 2 hours later we went swimming and then went back to Rebecca's house. This time since we were in our swim suits we got wetter than we did last time. Then here I am after a shower and dinner. It was ALOT of fun!


p.s. Also Karimi left for Africa today! She's not going to get back till sometime in August. I'm going to miss her.=(

Ruby Key

A book I'm reading that is really good is The Ruby Key. It is really really really good and I thought I share about it.

It's about Genna and Dan and their village is next to a forest where "nightlings" live. Their village is only outside from sun-up to sun-down then they go inside. Then the nightlings come out till the moon goes down. Genna and Dan go to the place where the nightlings live and bargain with their king so that their mother will not be sick anymore and that their father will come back and the their evil "uncle" will leave them alone. Well one of the slave nightlings tells them to ask for the ruby key also. So they do and to get all those things they have to find a boy named Doyati. Doyati has been hiding for over 100 years so they're going to have fun trying to find him.=)

I haven't finished it yet and so far they haven't found Doyati yet. But I think they're close.

Origami

I'm really into origami now. Today my teacher showed us how to make a origami star box. It was really fun and turns out looking pretty cool! I've already made 5 counting the 2 that she guided us through at school. I've learned how to make alot of things like the star box, a heart, a money bow, a jumping frog, a regular frog and one of those fortune teller one's. I don't know why but to me origami is really easy! My mom has some pretty cool square paper so I have alot of paper to choose from. Do any of you know how to make anything origami? I would like to try some new things.=)

The Acctual Worlds Fair

Last night was the worlds fair! It started at 6 but I didn't get there until 6:35! I got there late because our hometeacher came and didn't leave till then so yeah. Then it ended at 7, and when we got there our teacher told us that we didn't have to stay for the whole time, so I think that alot of people left early. It was really boring. No joke. Me and my mom and dad looked around and then left, it was really really boring! Sorry no pictures. And sorry I haven't blogged in a while there was just nothing to blog about.

Schools Out!

School is going to be out on Monday and Tuesday this week because of swine flu. I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm happy cause I get more time to read this really good series that I'm hooked on now thanks to Karimi(it's the Pendragon series, I finally made it to book 3). I'm sad because I only have a limited time left to see Karimi before she goes to Africa to visit family. She leaves around May 20, seems like a far off date but time has been flying by! But I'm also happy that I just get to spend time relaxing and hanging out with family. Oh! I just realized that the Worlds Fair is on Tuesday! I wonder if we're still having it. Hmm.

I forgot to mention, I MISS MY MOM!!!! She left last Tuesday and she is getting back on Wednesday and I really miss her!!!! I can't wait till she gets back! Well that's my update. Tell me something that has happened to you this last week or this week.
