Fall and Winter Happenings

When we moved back to Oregon, Isaac started bus driving and working at his Dad's pharmacy again. Bus driving means also getting to do the occasional field trip, which I get to go with him on sometimes! The girls volleyball team in banks was having an all day tournament at Seaside so I tagged along with Isaac to spend some time at the beach :)

In Seaside there is this bagel shop called "Bagels By the Sea". It is super yummy
and is a Seaside tradition for me

For lunch we tried this little food "truck" and it was SOO good!! I had never had
Tuna fish and chips before! Much better than cod

Hanging out on the bus really brought back some memories haha

Comfy or crazy? I say crazy!!
In October, we made a trip with my parents to St. Helens which is where they filmed the Disney movie "Halloweentown" which I loved when I was growing up!

The taxi from the movie!
We also, of course, carved pumpkins. Isaac's dad loves to garden, so he had quite the pumpkin patch for us to pick from!

My pumpkin :)
In November, Aunt Tina and Uncle Lincoln drove up from Utah to spend Thanksgiving with all of us! We had quite a bit of fun together!

 Love the beach!

Thanksgiving was at my parents house, and boy was all the food delicious!

We played some Pictionary as well which brought out a lot of laughter!

In December, Sydney was home from college so we all went and played Top Golf and had a blast. I won the first round ;)

We also, unsurprisingly, went on a hike in December as well. One of Tayler's last hurrah's in the PNW before heading off to Rexburg.

Tayler's always gotta goof around to make us laugh :)
Our goodbye lunch to Tayler! The next day he packed up his car and drove all the way to Rexburg.

Summer 2018

Lot's of things happened last summer that I never got around to blogging about, but am doing it now so that's better than nothing right? First major thing that happened was that I graduated from BYU-Idaho with my bachelor's in Public Health. That last semester was one of my busiest
semesters ever, as I had my internship to do on top of all my other classes. Needless to say that
when graduation rolled around, I was pretty ready for it!

I also got the email later in the summer that I graduated Suma Cum Laude, or the top 1% of my class!

The next week after graduating Isaac and I moved back to Oregon to live with his parents to help us save some money while we wait for him to get into graduate school. We are super grateful
that we were able to do this and have loved being around both his parents and mine!

August was quite the whirlwind of a time. Isaac and I practically spent the whole month in Utah because we had my family's reunion at the beginning of the month and then 2 week later
Isaac's family's reunion as well. Jackie and Tyler were super nice to put up with us staying with
them for so long haha!

Luckily we got to be there  for this cute little dude's 2nd birthday!
Sadly I didn't get a ton of pictures of the Kinsman reunion, but we had a blast!

This was super fun! You put a water balloon in that little blue container and then you zip it back and forth
trying to get it to break on the other person.
The Darrah reunion was in Midway. We had fun going on hikes and relaxing. We also went up to Park City and went down the Alpine Slide which was super fun!

Heading up the ski lift to do the Alpine Slide!

We also went swimming in this natural crater in Midway where the water is hot tub hot. Apparently is a popular spot to learn how to scuba dive!

A lake we hiked to :)

The beautiful mountains!

We also went on a fun camping trip with my mom and brother to Cold Water Cove. There were beautiful waterfalls around, but we were really looking forward to hiking to the Tamolitch Blue Pools
that we had heard so much about!

The water was a beautiful color!

Always do your best to get the best shot ;)

Tamolitch Blue Pools!

Overall, our summer was fantastic! We loved all the fun things we got to do and the
family we got to do it with :)
