Girls Camp

Last week I went to Girls Camp! It was really fun! Our theme was "Hearts Knit Together As One". We did Y.W Value Olympics so each cabin was from a different continent,or country. I was in England. It was AWESOME!! My YCL's were really fun and I made alot of new friends! The time was flying by so I think Girls Camp should be longer that 5 days. I think that Campfire and Rec. was my favorite part. Then the sunday after we got back from G.C after church we went camping at LL Stub Stewart State park. It was really nice and fun! The cabins were small but it didn't seem that small when you were inside. We came home tuesday morning. I had alot of fun hanging out with my family and going on hikes,cookig smores, and eating alot of food!=)

This morning me and Jackie went on a bike ride. It was nice because it was already warm outside even though it was only 7:00. My dad told me that it is supposed to get 90 or warmer this entire week! I'm really happy!=)

Rudy

This week Jackie has been babysitting the Denny's(people in our ward) dog, Rudy. They are going to be gone all week. Yesterday and today I have been over there with her to help. Not that I'm helping much. Rudy is a whippet and he is very cute! But he also is still freaking out that we go over there because he misses his family I'm guessing. So yeah. This is kind of a weird post but I needed something to blog about so here you go.=)

SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!!

FINALLY!!!!!! School is finally out! We got out on Thursday. All we did was have a party sign each others memory books(we don't have year books)and then go to an asembly. Then I went to my friend Rebecca's after school party, we walked from the school to her house. It was really fun! We decorated 2 cupcakes and then played in the sprinkler hose thingy. Then we went inside and when we came outside found that Tucker(their puppy) had jumped up on the table and ate 4 cupcakes!! Then we went in the hot tub. After the party I came home and went to the pool with Tayler to get his Junior Lifeguard, I didn't get in the pool though. Came home called Rebecca to see if she could spend the night over at my house. Rebecca came over we played. Went to sleep. Woke up at 7:30 ate breakfast. While we were playing LPS my cousin Sydney came over to play also. We were going to go to the pool at 2:00 but aparently they don't start that schedule till this week. That pretty much sums up my weekend.



This week I'm probably going to go swimming alot. And probably hang outside with friends and play outside.

I'm not going to swim laps though. That's boring!

Friends

Yesterday when I rode my bike with my friend, we went to her house while my mom was at the post office. We ended up having a water fight since it was 88 degrees outside!=) Then Rebecca(my friend that I rode bikes with) came over to my house for a sleep over! It was really fun! We made a star box and a cube. Then Sister Edlefsen and Kimmy came over to see if Hope, Jackie, Rebecca, and I wanted to play wall-ball at their house. It was like 8:30 or 9:00 when they came and asked so we played wall-ball in the street lights. It was really fun! We left at like 10:30 and then went to bed. In the morning we had cereal(Rebecca wanted cereal so i though ok=)) We then played Guitar Hero World Tour(GHWT) for about an hour. Then we went outside and jumped on the trampoline and then came in and made snow cones. They were really good!!=) Then Rebecca went home cause she had to do some chores and so did I. 2 hours later we went swimming and then went back to Rebecca's house. This time since we were in our swim suits we got wetter than we did last time. Then here I am after a shower and dinner. It was ALOT of fun!


p.s. Also Karimi left for Africa today! She's not going to get back till sometime in August. I'm going to miss her.=(

Ruby Key

A book I'm reading that is really good is The Ruby Key. It is really really really good and I thought I share about it.

It's about Genna and Dan and their village is next to a forest where "nightlings" live. Their village is only outside from sun-up to sun-down then they go inside. Then the nightlings come out till the moon goes down. Genna and Dan go to the place where the nightlings live and bargain with their king so that their mother will not be sick anymore and that their father will come back and the their evil "uncle" will leave them alone. Well one of the slave nightlings tells them to ask for the ruby key also. So they do and to get all those things they have to find a boy named Doyati. Doyati has been hiding for over 100 years so they're going to have fun trying to find him.=)

I haven't finished it yet and so far they haven't found Doyati yet. But I think they're close.
